Thinking of installing a Solar PV system but not sure where to start?

Don’t worry; solar PV is our area of expertise here at SolarMode, and we’re here to help you through each step of your journey to a more sustainable way of living. AND, we’ll help you save money in the process!

Rest assured, our team of experts has done this countless times with homes and businesses across Ireland. We will guide you where you need it, and work directly with you from start to finish.

The SolarMode process:

Consultation and design.

When you get in touch with us here at SolarMode, we start off by listening to you and what you hope to achieve with Solar PV, and we’ll suggest some suitable options for your home or business. 

After our initial consultation, we will arrange a site visit at a time that suits you. Unlike so many other Solar PV companies, you don’t meet a salesperson, but one of our dedicated install team. They will assess your property and design the most suitable system for you. 

We’ll walk you through the grant application process.

We will then send your quote, and if you’re happy to engage us for your Solar PV project, we will walk you through the SEAI grant application process. We will also apply to ESB networks on your behalf for permission to connect your upcoming Solar PV installation to the ESB network.

Scheduling your installation.

We’ll then schedule a date for your Solar PV installation within a few weeks, making sure to arrange a day and time that suits you best. It usually takes our installation team only one day to get the work done, ensuring everything is in place and cleaned up before they leave. On completion, one of our registered electricians will give you a full run through on the system, so you know how everything works. They will then set up the relevant apps on your smartphone so you can have remote access to your system and see, in real time, the power being generated by your newly installed Solar PV system.

Warranties and certification.

Once we have completed the work, we will provide you with the system warranties, service paperwork and certs, and upload all the required documentation and photos to the SEAI portal to ensure there are no delays in claiming your grant.

It doesn’t end there!

We don’t stop here - the team at SolarMode constantly monitors the performance of your system, to ensure optimum performance. Your inverter is always sampling voltages and frequencies, and from time to time can detect anomalies or mismatches with the ESB grid, for instance. The SolarMode team generally knows if there are issues that require attention before the homeowner is made aware of them. So if it’s something that affects your system in any way, we’ll get in contact with you and get a member of our technical team out promptly to get it resolved.
